I work in two different roles: as the lead Executive (i.e., President, CEO,. or General Manager) or as the Business Development Specialist (i.e., VP Sales & Marketing, Director Sales & Marketing). Please note that I'm very aware of and understand the idea of being very specific when it comes to stating the position or role I can play in an organization. Both the lead or top Executive or the Business Development roles are ones that I've had prior experience and success in and allow me to play a role of real significance that impacts a company's growth and betters people's lives.

Businesses in my sweet spot are in the Business to Business (B2B) segment. The revenue size is from $5mil to $100mil, with 25 to 500 EE's. These businesses must have real growth potential whether it's organic or by acquisition, even if they are in a traditional, mature industry. Their target customers are mid-market to large size companies.
The industries I get most excited about working in are creative services or manufacturing where graphics, color, design (form+function), and idea generation are core to the company's DNA.
The culture in companies that I work with reflect values of honesty, integrity, compassion, human development and learning, fun and celebration of success. The ownership and management team should be driven to succeed with a mindset that is truly open to new ways of thinking and doing things. There should be an intellectual curiosity about business best practices and reflect or have a realized need for inclusion and collaboration with stakeholders, strategic thinking and tactical execution. The business environment should reflect high energy and a positive, moving forward attitude or be in need of an injection of these!
My preference is to work in the Seattle/Eastside metro area, San Francisco Bay Area, or other western states . I'm able to travel wherever the work has meaning and value- I have no issue with engagements that require travel.
